Wiring up a DCC friendly scissor crossover...

Postby evan » Fri Jan 13, 2006 9:01 pm

Hi all

I have been searching the web, but haven't found a relatively simple way of wiring up a scissors crossover for DCC (stock rail always the same polarity as outside rail with electrofrog) I am using ground throws and have attached one microswitch to each, but I have the feeling I will need at least 2 microswitches for geting the correct poarity to each part of the crossover..

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Evan :)

Hi Simon

Thanks for the link - I looked at that sight and it doesn't cover the more complicated trackwork.

I racked my brain all last night and came up with a solution that only requires one standard microswitch per point (4 in all),

regards
