DCC and Point Motors...

Postby sdeccles » Sun Jul 18, 2010 9:11 pm

Hi all,
I have rewired my layout and have removed the LS150 point decoder, though this may be temporary(!). I can easily reinstall it without too much hassle.
I am using Solonoid type motors. What I would like to know is that can I link up the commons and then split it to each motor output on the decoder, or do I have to use separate wires from each common on each motor to the outputs?
Cheers

Si

Question answered elsewhere... Yes you can wire it that way! I had a look at the underside of the circuit board from the LS150 and the common terminals are all linked together and straight to one of the power input terminals.
